    • 2024 Accord TRG has everything you want.

After test driving multiple different powertrain configurations from Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai there was a clear winner to me. 2024 Accord hybrid touring is the overall winner in every category. It’s not quite as snappy from 0-60 as the 2025 civic hybrid TRG, but it’s close. The comfort level more than makes up for it…and then some. The seats are next level compared to the civic at any trim level. Heated and cooled leather seats, lumbar support, all the extras you want. Sound system isn’t as loud as I had hoped for but it’s crystal clear. No distortion at any level. Heads up display is handy for watching speed vs speed limit, tracking navigation, or watching your driver assist features in action. The road sign recognition is neat. I was very surprised to see my first trip get 53 MPG even though part of it was on highway. Regen breaking paddles looked like a gimmic, however after getting the hang of them I don’t use my breaks much. The hybrid battery charge/usage tab on your display is great. It kinda helps you figure out the best way to drive the car. You see when current comes from battery and when battery is capturing energy from breaking. The screen is amazing. Google assist amazing. “Hey Google find the nearest gas station and add the stop to my route”. Flawless execution at every attempt to use the tech. Can’t say enough about how impressed I am. Very grateful to be enjoying such a fine car. I test drove the 2024 civic 1.5L turbo. Great for the price, responsive like the previous generation we all love. However, seriously lacking after I experienced the instant torque from the hybrid setups. 2025civic sport 2.0L non hybrid non turbo disappointment. This drives more like a car designed for someone who doesn’t care what is under the hood. 2025 civic hybrid TRG, perfect car just not as comfortable as accord. Less tech features. Drives amazing. Quickest civic to date I believe. Significantly lower price point than accord. Almost bought this one. 2024 accord base HARD pass. 2024 Toyota Camry SE hybrid. Great car, just not as smooth as the Honda equivalent.

Purchased red exterior with part black/grey leather interior. Front passenger seat only reclines and does not adjust up/down & sits just inches on floor of vehicle! Most uncomfortable seat! No lumbar in passenger seat either! Honda won't communicate like old Camry XLE with garage door opener, really sucks. Do like the owner seat adjustment, but not crazy about keyless locking & unlocking feature. I liked the new Camry XLE & Rav-4 better, but Honda CR-V & Accord Touring were less $$ than Toyota. For some reason USAA quoted higher insurance premiums on the Toyota makes, so I chose the Honda Accord Touring, Every Honda & TOYT inventory both had lots of color black or silver exterior, with Black interior inventory. NO white exterior with any interior color BUT black! Most salespersons tried to tell me EVERYONE WANTED Black interior and Black exterior here in the Southern Midwest! BULL-Hockey!! After 6 weeks of shopping, I flipped a coin! Bought ALL extended Warranty INS/8 Yr. or 100K Miles @ grand Total $52,487) Got so tired as gray-haired old woman, that's bought (19) family & work vehicles for past 53 years, so it"s still a man's world in Vehicle industry!! UGH!

An excellent all around car. It's been 4 months since the purchase and I'm definitely enjoying its premium features (Bose and cooled seats for sure). It's quicker than I anticipated and its handling is approaching sports sedan levels. It feels secure and easy to operate at any speed and road conditions. My only minor gripe is the 19" wheels with 40 profile tires, I wish they were 18" with 45-50 profile, that would make a big difference in overall comfort. I'm getting around 40 mpg so far, perhaps if I drove it a bit more conservatively it would be higher, but 40 mpg is acceptable to me. I would recommended this car to anyone looking for great features from luxury cars, but at a non-luxury car prices.
